Inoui Editions was born in 2009 from the friendship and creative partnership of two women: Lise, a stylist and graduate of the prestigious École Berçot in Paris, and Mathilde, a designer trained at the Beaux-Arts who has never gone anywhere without a sketchbook. Together, they set out to build something that placed design at the very heart of every creation — and the result is a brand that has been reinventing itself each season for over fifteen years.

Working from their studio in the Baie de Somme on the northern coast of France, the duo begins every piece with an original hand-drawn illustration. Playful, dreamlike and richly detailed, each design is conceived as a work of art in its own right — then brought to life through ancestral weaving, printing and embroidery techniques in collaboration with historic workshops in India. The materials are equally considered: soft cotton, natural linen, enveloping wool, precious cashmere and luminous silk, chosen for their drape, feel and ability to carry colour with depth and precision.

The result is a collection of scarves, silk squares, bags and accessories that move fluidly between the poetic and the wearable — pieces that transcend trends and companion you through every season. Versatile by design, each scarf can be worn around the neck, draped over the shoulders, tied to a bag, or worn as a belt.
